Baptism
Baptism is an outward, visible sign of an inward, invisible faith. Baptism does not save you; it is a public declaration of your saving faith in Jesus Christ.
If you believe in your heart and have confessed with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, that He died on the cross for your sins and rose again to have a relationship with you, then we want to celebrate that faith with you through baptism!

Sunday Mornings
When the weather permits, we have a baptismal outside of our main door. You can be baptized any Sunday morning as long as weather permits.

Baptism Services
A few times a year, we have worship services that include an element of baptism during the service. You can invite your family and friends to celebrate with you and be baptized during these services.

Baptism is an “outward and visible sign of an inward, invisible faith”. Jesus himself was baptized as an example for all believers (Matthew 3:13-17), and the early church leaders baptized new believers as a sign of their salvation (Acts 2:38-41).
We like to think of baptism as a wedding ring; the ring itself doesn’t make you married, but it lets the world know that you belong to someone. Baptism lets the world know that you belong to Jesus!

Scripture tells us “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9). You don’t need to recite a magic prayer or do a list of things; as long as you believe in your heart that Jesus is the Son of God and that He loves you so much that He died and rose again for you, you have been saved!

We primarily baptize by immersion at Kingdom, meaning those being baptized get in a tub/body of water and are fully immersed. We believe this visually represents death to self and resurrection into new life in Christ.
If you have physical limitations that prevent immersion, we will baptize you through sprinkling or another appropriate means.

If a child has publicly declared their faith in Jesus, we will baptize a child with their parents’ permission and as long as their parent(s) are present.
We believe baptism is a public declaration of faith, and as infants are unable to “declare” faith in Jesus, we do not baptize infants. If you are interested in infant dedication, please contact our church office for more information!
